Say yes to chess! Join Chess Wizards for an interactive, scholastic program where kids will collaborate, gain confidence, improve chess skills, meet new friends, and work out their most powerful muscle – their brains! Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual game play. All students will receive a trophy, puzzle folder and wizards t-shirt. Come join the fun!!!

Feeling sore when you wake up in the morning or in the evening after work?  Need a low impact way to work out?  Join our water exercise class at Gordon College.  This class is a great way to relieve stress and work out without causing undue pain to your body. Enjoy a morning or an evening in the pool getting back into shape!
 
4:15 PM - 5:15 PM    SportsZone 101: Afternoon Anarchy Basketball - Afternoon Anarchy Basketball (Winter 2025)
This fast-paced basketball program will feature individual or team skill competitions, mini-games, and a set of tournament games each week. Points will be accumulated throughout the program and tabulated the final week to crown three champions. Sports cards will be given out each week to participants, but three additional small prizes will be given out to the students who receive the most points in the program. Points are not only awarded for skill. We also pay very close attention to sportsmanship, teamwork, behavior, and coachability when awarding points. Come see if you have what it takes!

STEM challenges are activities where students design and build solutions to problems using a combination of science, technology, engineering, and math skills. We will have fun and exciting challenges each week for our students to explore. Some challenges include catapults, ramp making, waterproofing, egg dropping, and so much more! Challenges will range in complexity, but we will have additional activities on hand if students find the challenge too complex. Come learn and explore!

Students will also learn the rules of match play & how to score while learning the basics in a fun-filled manner!Low Intermediate: This 5-week drill clinic will focus on the skills you need during different aspects of the game.  Each week the instructors will demonstrate and then help you practice the essential drills for this higher level of play.  Instructor will apply the new learning through on court instruction as you play points out.   The focus will be on mastering the essential shots to bring players to a higher level of play. Participants should have a consistent understanding/demonstration of the serve, return of serve, and be open to developing their softer pickleball shots.    This clinic will have two instructors to assist in your learning process

Knucklebones newest class! A mixture of movement and gross motor, which combines running, jumping, obstacle courses, etc..  Each week will be something different, imitating a mini American Ninja Warrior course.
 
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM    SportsZone 101 Baseball Clinic - Baseball Clinic (Winter 2025)
Summer Session will not be held in the event of rain. Make-up Class will be Friday.Players, ages 6 to 12 will have intensive instruction in proper baseball mechanics and techniques. Kids will be split up by age. The clinic includes comprehensive instruction in the proper fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, bunting, infield play, and outfield play. Players will improve specific skills through drills, demonstrations, and scrimmages.
 
1:15 PM - 2:15 PM    SportsZone 101: Pokeman Battle Club - Pokeman Battle Club (Winter 2025)
Gather up your Poke balls, muster your courage, and prepare your mind for the ultimate test of your Pokémon trainer abilities. Throughout this class, you will go head-to-head with other Pokémon trainers to determine who will become the Gym Master and take home the Grand Prize of 10 Pokémon booster packs. We will cover some basic Pokémon Trading Card Game strategy, but this class is intended for participants who have a basic knowledge of Pokémon the Trading Card Game. Trainers do not need to bring their own battle decks, but it is suggested. In class trading will also be allowed with direct approval of class teachers to ensure fair trade practices.

We are redefining kid food! Each class presents students with opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe

Summer Session will not be held in the event of rain. Make-up Class will be Friday.Players, ages 6 to 12 will have intensive instruction in proper baseball mechanics and techniques. Kids will be split up by age. The clinic includes comprehensive instruction in the proper fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, bunting, infield play, and outfield play. Players will improve specific skills through drills, demonstrations, and scrimmages.

Gather up your Poke balls, muster your courage, and prepare your mind for the ultimate test of your Pokémon trainer abilities. Throughout this class, you will go head-to-head with other Pokémon trainers to determine who will become the Gym Master and take home the Grand Prize of 10 Pokémon booster packs. We will cover some basic Pokémon Trading Card Game strategy, but this class is intended for participants who have a basic knowledge of Pokémon the Trading Card Game. Trainers do not need to bring their own battle decks, but it is suggested. In class trading will also be allowed with direct approval of class teachers to ensure fair trade practices.

We are redefining kid food! Each class presents students with opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe

This fast-paced basketball program will feature individual or team skill competitions, mini-games, and a set of tournament games each week. Points will be accumulated throughout the program and tabulated the final week to crown three champions. Sports cards will be given out each week to participants, but three additional small prizes will be given out to the students who receive the most points in the program. Points are not only awarded for skill. We also pay very close attention to sportsmanship, teamwork, behavior, and coachability when awarding points. Come see if you have what it takes!

Summer Session will not be held in the event of rain. Make-up Class will be Friday.Players, ages 6 to 12 will have intensive instruction in proper baseball mechanics and techniques. Kids will be split up by age. The clinic includes comprehensive instruction in the proper fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, bunting, infield play, and outfield play. Players will improve specific skills through drills, demonstrations, and scrimmages.

Gather up your Poke balls, muster your courage, and prepare your mind for the ultimate test of your Pokémon trainer abilities. Throughout this class, you will go head-to-head with other Pokémon trainers to determine who will become the Gym Master and take home the Grand Prize of 10 Pokémon booster packs. We will cover some basic Pokémon Trading Card Game strategy, but this class is intended for participants who have a basic knowledge of Pokémon the Trading Card Game. Trainers do not need to bring their own battle decks, but it is suggested. In class trading will also be allowed with direct approval of class teachers to ensure fair trade practices.

We are redefining kid food! Each class presents students with opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe

This fast-paced basketball program will feature individual or team skill competitions, mini-games, and a set of tournament games each week. Points will be accumulated throughout the program and tabulated the final week to crown three champions. Sports cards will be given out each week to participants, but three additional small prizes will be given out to the students who receive the most points in the program. Points are not only awarded for skill. We also pay very close attention to sportsmanship, teamwork, behavior, and coachability when awarding points. Come see if you have what it takes!

Students will also learn the rules of match play & how to score while learning the basics in a fun-filled manner!Low Intermediate: This 5-week drill clinic will focus on the skills you need during different aspects of the game.  Each week the instructors will demonstrate and then help you practice the essential drills for this higher level of play.  Instructor will apply the new learning through on court instruction as you play points out.   The focus will be on mastering the essential shots to bring players to a higher level of play. Participants should have a consistent understanding/demonstration of the serve, return of serve, and be open to developing their softer pickleball shots.    This clinic will have two instructors to assist in your learning process
