Students will also learn the rules of match play & how to score while learning the basics in a fun-filled manner!Low Intermediate: This 5-week drill clinic will focus on the skills you need during different aspects of the game.  Each week the instructors will demonstrate and then help you practice the essential drills for this higher level of play.  Instructor will apply the new learning through on court instruction as you play points out.   The focus will be on mastering the essential shots to bring players to a higher level of play. Participants should have a consistent understanding/demonstration of the serve, return of serve, and be open to developing their softer pickleball shots.    This clinic will have two instructors to assist in your learning process

Sports cards are coming back with a vengeance. Students are able to collect their favorite players, teams, and card styles, thus creating their own personalized card vault! This class will give them the ability to learn how to value their cards, determine which trades are reasonable, and negotiate terms for each trade. The kids will also learn about different stars of each sport, important events, great moments, and even discuss some low points in sports history, like corked bats and pine tar in baseball. At the end of each class, students will also receive a pack of cards from the sport we highlighted that day. Time will be spent learning, discussing, and trading every week!

Our 4 and 5 year old participants utilize creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.You must also register with Soccer Shots.  After you register on the Hamilton-Wenham Rec site, Soccer Shots will send you a link to register on their site.  Soccer Shots charges a $35 annual enrollment fee once per year.  If you’ve paid the annual enrollment fee within the last year, the Soccer Shots system will not charge you.  But you will still have to sign their waiver.

Join us for a fun and engaging journey into the Chinese language and culture! This 6-week course is perfect for both new and students with prior exposure to Mandarin Chinese. Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes and are designe to make learning Chinese exciting and memorable through interactive, hands-on activities. Students will explore essential vocabulary and expressions through visuals, songs, games, movement, and storytelling. Topics include: Greetings and basic expressions Numbers and colors Days of the week and months Shapes and the Chinese alphabet (pinyin and basic characters) Seasons and weather Family and body parts. Those with prior exposure to Mandarin will review foundational skills and expand their vocabulary through sentence building, simple dialogues, and new thematic units such as: Opposites and sizes Emotions and feelings Common action verbs Food and home-related vocabulary Cultural elements and everyday expressions. By Week 2, each student will receive a personalized activity book to reinforce classroom learning. We encourage students to practice 5–10 minutes daily at home to build confidence and retention. We are redefining kid food! Each class presents students with opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe

Students will also learn the rules of match play & how to score while learning the basics in a fun-filled manner!Low Intermediate: This 5-week drill clinic will focus on the skills you need during different aspects of the game.  Each week the instructors will demonstrate and then help you practice the essential drills for this higher level of play.  Instructor will apply the new learning through on court instruction as you play points out.   The focus will be on mastering the essential shots to bring players to a higher level of play. Participants should have a consistent understanding/demonstration of the serve, return of serve, and be open to developing their softer pickleball shots.    This clinic will have two instructors to assist in your learning process

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM    SportsZone 101: Inside the Pack - SportsZone 101: Inside the Pack (Winter 2026)
Sports cards are coming back with a vengeance. Students are able to collect their favorite players, teams, and card styles, thus creating their own personalized card vault! This class will give them the ability to learn how to value their cards, determine which trades are reasonable, and negotiate terms for each trade. The kids will also learn about different stars of each sport, important events, great moments, and even discuss some low points in sports history, like corked bats and pine tar in baseball. At the end of each class, students will also receive a pack of cards from the sport we highlighted that day. Time will be spent learning, discussing, and trading every week!

Our 4 and 5 year old participants utilize creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.You must also register with Soccer Shots.  After you register on the Hamilton-Wenham Rec site, Soccer Shots will send you a link to register on their site.  Soccer Shots charges a $35 annual enrollment fee once per year.  If you’ve paid the annual enrollment fee within the last year, the Soccer Shots system will not charge you.  But you will still have to sign their waiver.

This clinic focuses on the basic fundamentals beginning with dribbling, shooting, passing and catching as well as defense. Using age appropriate equipment the class will enable your child to learn at their own pace while having a blast! Each class will be structured with stretching, learning a skill, rule of the day, skill game and finally a fun filled game for all to enjoy. Sneakers are required.

We are redefining kid food! Each class presents students with opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe
