Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Our 4 and 5 year old participants utilize creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.You must also register with Soccer Shots. After you register on the Hamilton-Wenham Rec site, Soccer Shots will send you a link to register on their site. Soccer Shots charges a $35 annual enrollment fee once per year. Adult Pickleball Lessons w/ Sue - Pickleball Lessons Skills & Drills (Spring 2026) Session 2 Skills & Drills: This 4 week clinic will review and practice fundamental skills utilized to play more competitive points. We will spend each session drilling different skills at the four aeras of the court: the kitchen, the “hot zone,” the transition zone and the base line. We will briefly review serve, return of serve, and then focus on strategy getting through the transition zone and up to the net to play out the point. We will review and practice the volley, the block, the drop shot, back hand shots, improving dink shots, dealing with fast balls, communication with partners, as well as court positioning. Near the end of each session, you will have the opportunity to play out points while receiving on court instruction.Low Intermediate: This 5-week drill clinic will focus on the skills you need during different aspects of the game. Each week the instructors will demonstrate and then help you practice the essential drills for this higher level of play. Instructor will apply the new learning through on court instruction as you play points out. The focus will be on mastering the essential shots to bring players to a higher level of play. Participants should have a consistent understanding/demonstration of the serve, return of serve, and be open to developing their softer pickleball shots. Adult Tennis Lessons - Adult Skills and Drills Tennis Program (Summer 2026) Our Adult Skills and Drills Tennis Program is designed for those who want to learn the fundamentals of tennis and for players looking to improve their game! Each night, players work on their tennis skills, hand-eye skills, basic tennis strokes, technique, ball & racket control, and have lots of fun! All abilities are welcome! Our Adult Intermediate Adult Tennis Program is designed for those who already have the basic tennis strokes, can maintain a rally, and already know how to Serve, Rally and Score. It will consist of improving technique and will introduce singles/doubles strategies for match play.
