12:00 PM - 1:00 PM    Adult Pickleball Lessons w/ Sue - Beginner Pickleball Lessons (Spring 2025)
Beginner/Advanced Beginner Clinic: Class for Players new to the Game or only playing a short time who would like to learn to achieve better fundamental techniques in their game. strokes & shots that will be taught are: volley, dink shots, serve & return, & forehand/backhand drive shots. Students will also learn the rules of match play & how to score while learning the basics in a fun-filled manner!Low Intermediate: This 5-week drill clinic will focus on the skills you need during different aspects of the game.  Each week the instructors will demonstrate and then help you practice the essential drills for this higher level of play.  Instructor will apply the new learning through on court instruction as you play points out.   The focus will be on mastering the essential shots to bring players to a higher level of play. Participants should have a consistent understanding/demonstration of the serve, return of serve, and be open to developing their softer pickleball shots.    This clinic will have two instructors to assist in your learning process

Looking for an active after school program for your child? Check our Sportzone 101’s new half day program! In this action packed program, children will participate in a variety of games, such as street hockey, soccer, football, dodgeball, basketball, wiffleball, and many others! In addition to learning the fundamentals of these sports, we will have exciting discussions about current events in sports, learn the importance of maintaining a healthy active lifestyle, and reinforce in-class learning using sports cards and prizes. Each participant will receive a daily sports prize.The Wednesday early release program will be held at two locations. Registration will open on Tuesday, May 27th @ 10:00amSports Zone 101 we will be offering two separate programs on the evening of Special Town Meeting, on Monday, June 9th.  Please see below for more detailed information.Ages: 5-12Drop Off: Will begin as early as 5:45pm at both locations.Pick Up: Staff will be on site for the duration of the Town Meeting(s).  We kindly ask that participants in the program are picked up within a reasonable amount of time at the conclusion of the meeting(s).**Please disregard the 8:30pm end time on the activity schedule, we understand this is a moving target*Food & Drink: We will provide some light snacks for the participants, but please feel free to bring your own.Wait list: If the program does fill, please add your name to the wait list.  If the weather for that evening cooperates and we are able to utilize outdoor space, we may be able to add additional participants.
